The company owns in partnership and manages Blackpool and Wolverhampton airports in the UK and Biella Airport in Italy.City Hopper intends to expand and upgrade Blackpool Airport’s passenger terminal and is introducing more commuter services and holiday flights to a wider range of destinations.This year the airport expects to handle around 250,000 passengers. From Blackpool Ryanair operates twice a day to London, Stansted and once a day to Dublin. There are several flights a day to the Isle of Man and Belfast. The major holiday operators, including Thomson and First Choice, provide flights to a variety of Europe’s leading destinations. Blackpool Airport has 7 flying schools where student pilots can learn to fly fixed wing aircraft and helicopters.
